Admission Requirements
To enroll in the EMT program, students must meet the following prerequisites:
- Proof of Immunization for MMR and Varicella (titer test or booster may be required)
- Childhood Immunization Records
- COVID-19 Vaccination Card or Exemption Letter
- Valid Social Security Card and Government-Issued ID
- American Heart Association CPR Certification (included in program)
- Mask Fit Test (available at OMI or Advent Health)
- High School Diploma or GED (attestation letter accepted)
- Seasonal Flu Shot (required between Oct. 1 – April 30)
- Current Physical Exam (dated within six months of program start date)
- 10-Panel Drug Screening
- Background Check via PreCheck
- TB/PPD Test with results (dated within six months of program start date)

Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Schedule Type II (Night Class)
Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Schedule Type III (Weekend Class)
Friday: 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
